Viking Johnson And Hattersley Join Forces

Posted on 01st May 2004

Hattersley valves and Viking Johnson pipe couplings can be found side by side in pipelines throughout the world – and now both are available from the same source.

Hattersley waterworks valves are now being stocked, distributed and marketed by Viking Johnson following the acquisition of Hattersley Newman Hender by parent company Crane Fluid Systems.

The market-leading range includes eccentric and multi-port plug valves, and Flex Check, flexible disc check valves. Used for isolation, control and backflow prevention of potable and wastewater, slurries, sludges, gases and powders, they can now be supplied ex-stock from Viking Johnson in Hitchin.

Product manager is Hattersley’s former national sales manager Neil Parry, a City and Guilds engineer who has built up an unrivalled practical knowledge of valve applications during his 18 years with the company.

The synergy between the products will contribute to a widening of Viking Johnson’s market presence that also includes an expanded customer service department and a sales drive into the new EU accession countries.
