Bespoke Coupling for Havant Thicket Reservoir Project

Viking Johnson has recently completed the manufacture and supply of a large DN1400 wall coupling, measuring an impressive 2.4 metres in length.
Supplied to European Pipeline Engineering (Southern), the component is destined for installation at the Havant Thicket Reservoir, a major new water infrastructure project in East Hampshire,
The bespoke coupling, designed and built at Viking Johnson’s advanced manufacturing facility, highlights the company's expertise in producing high-quality, large-diameter pipeline solutions for complex infrastructure developments.
The Havant Thicket Reservoir will be the first new reservoir to be built in the South East since the 1970s and is being developed as a collaboration with Portsmouth Water and Southern Water. The reservoir spans 160 hectares, and has a 8.7 billion litre sotrage capacity. It is due to fully open in 2029.
