New MaxiFit reaches 5 Million Milestone

The MaxiFit was first launched in 1985 and has evolved to include a full range of products which have revolutionised the water and gas industry, providing a ‘one size fits all solution.’
During the MaxiFit development phase back in 1985, Viking Johnson listened to their customers and identified a gap in the market and demand for a wide range of couplings that could be used for maintenance and repair projects. They also saw an opportunity to reduce the stock holding significantly by producing a product that could fit all popular pipe materials and sizes.
The MaxiFit has seen continuous development and refinement ensuring that it remains the market leader in the water and gas industry. Innovative flange adaptor profiles allow for lighter flanges and provide multiple flange drillings ensuring the product meets a range of customer needs and above all stands out amongst its competitors.
The MaxiFit has been used for a number of prestigious projects including a multimillion pound project in Trinidad. Working in partnership with distributor ANSA Technologies, Viking Johnson replaced all the existing and failing Chinese products with the MaxiFit range. This was the beginning of an ongoing relationship with ANSA Technologies.
The Maxifit range of flange adapters and stepped couplings provided versatile solutions for pipe jointing and has proven its success by selling 5 Million units during its 19 year life span!
