Viking Johnson Take Part In Gulf Plastic Pipes Academy

Steve Lacey, Viking Johnson's Export Sales Manager for the MENA region, has been involved in the GPPA Operation and Maintenance workshop in Saudi Arabia. The GPPA (Gulf Plastic Pipes Academy) organise regular presentations, on the subject of plastic pipes, to an audience of operatives and end users. Traditionally, they are a very sceptical about the introduction of plastic pipes as they are concerned about the difficulty of repairing them.
Modules to date have covered 'An Introduction to Common Repair Methods in Plastic Pipes' and 'Engineering Aspects of Using Plastic Pipes in Piping Systems'. All modules have been well attended and have proven popular.
During a seminar, Steve introduced the various types of mechanical fittings available on the market. He gave an overview of the extensive range of Mechanical Couplings and Pipe Repair Products, for PE piping systems, that Viking Johnson can offer.
