Caveat 1
Due to the characteristics of PE pipe, Viking Johnson does not recommend the use of repair clamps on this pipe material.
Caveat 2
HandiTee are not suitable for use on heating systems with fluctuating temperatures.
Caveat 3
HandiTee is not designed to accommodate / resist the loads from the under pressure drilling equipment, which needs to be supported externally during the operation to drill into the main. In addition, the valve and branch pipework needs to be adequately supported to ensure none of the dead / live loads are imposed in the branch outlet in the HandiTee.

A Flanged Fitting for Branch Connections
Simple Flange Connection
The HandiTee range is extremely useful to make simple flanged connections on pipelines under pressure due to its lightweight and easy installation. HandiTee has been engineered for modern water-industry applications. Designed for most small and large bore pipe material applications all are supplied with EPDM or Nitrile gaskets with a maximum operating temperature of 40°C, supporting a wide range of field conditions. No specialist tools just a torque wrench to verify correct bolt loading.
First Time Seal
The HandiTee provides a permanent stainless-steel repair solution for pipe damage including corrosion holes, longitudinal cracks and Impact damage across small and large diameters

Corrosion Protection
Components constructed of fully-passivated stainless steel (Grade 304) with no need for any further protection on site (e.g. on-site wrapping). Bolts are secured with Dacromet coated nuts to prevent galling.
