Viking Johnson Reaches New Quality Standard

Viking Johnson has gained accreditation under the rigorous new quality management standard ISO 9001:2000.

Explaining the significance for customers of the company’s success, Quality Manager Bob Guy said: “The 1994 version of the standard, which we held previously, was mainly concerned with compliance with procedures, but ISO 9001:2000 is much broader in its scope.

“It specifies the role that every employee has to play in seven key areas, one of which is customer satisfaction, which is exactly in line with the commitment set out in our own quality policy.”
