Oman Technical Seminar

Posted on 26th Feb 2015

Viking Johnson will be demonstrating how innovative design and high quality products with a proven design life expectancy can reduce the “Total Installed Cost” of pipe jointing with mechanical couplings.

Over a hundred delegates from Oman’s water and waste water companies, international consultants and contractors are expected to attend the session delivered by Viking Jonson’s Business Development and Technical Support Manager, in association with Al-Matawaa Trading Company L.L.C.

The focus of the technical seminar is to show the key features found in good quality mechanical fittings and how by specifying these, end users can reduce the “Total Installed Cost” of pipe jointing with mechanical couplings.

Viking Johnson products offer a 50 year design life expectancy, which is achieved through not only testing to industry standards but also undertaking long term tests to verify the longevity of the fitting (e.g. Accelerated Aging Test).

Combining this with Viking Johnson’s flash butt welding and cold expansion process that verifies the strength of materials used in every Large Diameter Dedicated product manufactured in their UK Factory gives designers, operatives and network owners piece of mind that when selecting VJ mechanical coupling to deliver leak tight joints over the life of the asset.

The seminar will be held in the prestigious Grand Hyatt, Muscat in Oman on 2nd March, 2015.
